"After a long trip in the cold rain to Alpenhof, we were greeted by a warm cozy fire in the fireplace and the friendly smiles of Roland and Judy who were relaxing by the fire, waiting our arrival. The house is a wonderful mix of art and awesome woods, collected over the years by the Mullers. We stayed in Heidi's room with the MOST COMFORTABLE king size bed I have ever slept on!!! Roland even shared his secret so I could duplicate it at home. The breakfast in the morning was like NO OTHER B&B experience we have ever had......started with a wonderful bowl of fresh fruit, HOME MADE tarts that make your tongue sing, choice of yogurt, fresh juice, coffee, tea.........and then they came to take our ORDER!!! Yes, more wonderful homemade food, whatever you wanted. Roland and Judy were great help in getting us to places around the Inn and making suggestions of "FUN" things to do. The gardens are outstanding.......the rock garden is a must see! We will definitely go back........this was by far the best B&B we have visited. Thank you Roland and Judy for making Mike's birthday special."
"The one problem we had with Alpenhof's B&B was that we didn't want to leave. We stayed in the "cottage" which is most like a very comfy apartment, and we just fell in love with it. The decor was so cheerful. Judy and Roland couldn't offer enough assistance, couldn't be more kind and couldn't possibly have any more talent at cooking and decorating than they do!! Breakfast was fantastic. Fresh fruit, homemade muffins, waffles and french toast was what we had. There was much more made to order, but we were only there one night - darn. We can see this as a new getaway to just have some quiet time, away from phones and electronics. We will surely look into this when our daughter gets married down the road. Family members would be very cozy at Alpenhof. So thanks to Roland and Judy and the extremely interesting guests we were lucky enough to meet, we have many happy 30th anniversary memories."
"My sister & I travel a lot and we must say this was one of the best mini vacations we ever had. Roland & Judy are two wonderful, caring, entertaining people. The breakfast's were as good as if you were in a 5 star restaurant. We had the master suite and it was charming. The whole place was perfect and we cannot wait to go back there. My sister has already given her daughter & son in law a gift certificate for them to go. Judy and Roland our deepest appreciation for making this a wonderful vacation for us. Until we see you again, happy holidays."
